Full job description

Location: Confidential (Exciting new furniture retail store launch)
Hours: Flexible, including weekdays and weekends
Shift Pattern: Three 4-hour shifts, Monday to Sunday (rota basis)
Pay: National Minimum Wage + Performance Bonus Scheme

We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and customer-focused Part-Time Sales Assistants to join our team for the exciting launch of a new furniture retail store. If you enjoy working with people, have a positive attitude, and are passionate about delivering excellent customer service, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional customer service and create a welcoming shopping experience.
Assist customers with product enquiries and sales.
Operate the till and handle cash transactions accurately.
Process handwritten invoices, so good written communication and legible handwriting are essential.
Replenish stock from the warehouse to the shop floor.
Assist with merchandising and maintaining attractive product displays (visual merchandising experience or an interest in visual merchandising is an advantage).
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the store.
Support with general day-to-day retail operations.
Undertake manual handling duties, including lifting and moving furniture and other heavy items when required.

What We're Looking For

A friendly, approachable, and confident people person.
Excellent customer service skills.
Good timekeeping and reliability are essential.
Comfortable with manual handling and physical work.
Flexible to work a variety of shifts across Monday to Sunday.
Cash handling experience is desirable.
Previous retail experience is beneficial but not essential—full training will be provided for the right candidate.
An interest in visual merchandising would be an advantage.
