Full job description

Multi Trade Operative

Location: Site based covering East & West Midlands. Occasionally further afield

Standard Hours Monday- Friday 39 hours plus out of hours on call.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Multi Trade Operative to join Novus Property Solutions, Responsive Repairs division, providing high-quality joinery and multi skilled repairs and replacement services within Social Housing tenanted properties

This role will support you, value your skills, give you stability, whilst keeping your work interesting and meaningful.

An outline of your responsibilities and experience

Applications are welcome from experienced candidates that have a Multi Trade background, joiner & plumbing experience essential.
Plumbing - Replacing or repairingsanitaryware, toilets, baths, shower trays, basins, refurbishment of shower heads and taps.
Joinery - repairs of various doors, windows, kitchens, bathrooms and general handyman type duties to ensure functionality.
Plastering - patch plastering, boarding & skimming
Flooring experience - laying vinyl floors
Working in tenanted properties on responsive repairs.
Social Housing experience is essential.
Working from job tickets or a handheld device on a daily basis linked to a live shared system.
Trusted to manage your own day and workload effectively
Always delivering an outstanding service to customers with the understanding that you are working in their homes
Following Novus exemplary Health and Safety policies and standards
NVQ Level 2/3 Joinery or Plumbing
NVQ Level 2 Trade Qualification (Carpentry, Plumbing or equivalent)
Candidates will also require Working at Height, Asbestos Awareness and Manual Handling training. Where these certifications have expired, refresher training can be provided by Novus.
Experience within social housing refurbishment environment.
NVQ Level 2 Property Maintenance knowledge and qualifications are advantageous
Full UK driving license is required.
The role will also require a DBS check to be completed
