Job Summary

We are seeking 2 dedicated Night Bakery Assistants to join our team during the overnight hours. This role involves supporting the bakery's operations by preparing, baking, and ensuring the quality of baked goods in a clean and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food production. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills within a busy bakery setting, working during night shifts to ensure fresh products are ready for the following day.

Duties

Assist in preparing ingredients and dough for baking, following established recipes and procedures.
Operate bakery equipment such as mixers, ovens, and proofing cabinets safely and efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and storage areas in accordance with food safety regulations.
Support stock organisation by rotating stock and ensuring ingredients are stored correctly.
Assist with packaging finished products for delivery or in-store sale.

Monday - 00:00-07:00

Tuesday - 07:00-15:00/16:00

Wednesday - Day off

Thursday - Day off

Friday - 05:00-09:00

Saturday 04:00-08:00

Role 2

Monday Off

Tuesday 00:00-07:00

Wednesday 00:00-07:00

Thursday 00:00-07:00

Friday 00:00-07:00

Saturday 00:00-07:00

Start and finish times many vary due to business demands and seasonal times of the year.

You may be asked to work extra to cover holidays and sickness. These shifts will predominantly be night shifts.

Experience

Prior experience in food production, food preparation, or cooking is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is preferred.
Familiarity with baking techniques and culinary processes will be beneficial.
Candidates with a background in food service or hospitality are encouraged to apply.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about baking and food preparation to gain valuable experience working during night shifts in a professional environment.

Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
