Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Food & Beverage Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced hospitality environment, assisting with food and beverage service, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality is desirable, along with a passion for providing outstanding customer care. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in food preparation and food safety within a dynamic team setting.

Responsibilities

Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and professional manner
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the all areas.
Greet and seat customers in a friendly and professional manner
Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
Support catering events by setting up, serving, and clearing tables as required
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Handle customer enquiries promptly and courteously, providing excellent hospitality at all times
Restock supplies and assist with inventory management as needed
Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods
Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction
Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales
Answer customer questions about menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order delivery
Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and resolve issues promptly
Process customer payments and operate cash register
Working throughout the different Food and Beverage outlets as required
Ensure any online training issued is completed within required timelines

Experience

Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality roles is preferred
Experience working in a restaurant or bar environment is advantageous
Barista experience is considered a plus
Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is desirable
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and customer service best practices
A friendly, professional attitude with strong organisational skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy setting

Pay: £12.71 per hour
