Full job description

A great opportunity has arisen to join Kings Park, a well-maintained and friendly private residential estate nestled behind Sovereign Marina. Kings Park is an 18-acre private estate comprising 181 individually owned freehold bungalows.

We are looking for a reliable, organised and personable individual to join our on-site administration team. The successful applicant will work alongside an administrator, reporting directly to the Board of Directors.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills, a professional approach and enjoy working as part of a team. Previous experience in property management, estate administration or a similar role is required.

The Role

This is a part-time position of 24 hours per week, working three days per week, based in our on-site offices. £26,000 pro-annum, pro-rata.

The role will include a varied range of administrative, property and estate management responsibilities, including:

Using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook with a reasonable level of confidence.
Using accounting software such as Xero or similar for purchase and sales ledgers, reconciliations, invoicing and billing. Software-specific training will be provided.
Liaising with and managing contractors, including setting targets, monitoring progress and checking completed work.
Carrying out regular inspections of the estate.
Reporting on the condition of communal areas, buildings and property, and identifying any maintenance or other issues.
Maintaining clear and accurate records of work, inspections and ongoing maintenance.
Processing planning requests and arranging site visits
Communicating professionally with residents, contractors, the Board and other relevant parties.
Supporting the smooth day-to-day running and maintenance of the estate.

About You
We are looking for someone who is:

Organised, reliable and able to work independently.
Friendly and approachable, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Confident working as part of a small team.
Comfortable communicating with contractors, residents and the Board of Directors.
Able to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines.
A reasonable level of proficiency using Microsoft Office and willing to learn new software.
Ideally experienced in property management, estate administration, facilities management or a similar environment.

Hours

Part-time: 24 hours per week with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break
9am-5pm
3 days per week
The role is based at the Kings Park on-site offices.
3-month probationary period.
