NEW SHOP TAKING OVER AN OLD BARBERSHOP IN BLETCHLEY MILTON KEYNES!!

We are seeking a dynamic and talented man/women to join our team as a professional hair stylist and barber. In this energetic role, you will deliver exceptional grooming services, creating stylish and personalized looks for our diverse clientele. Your passion for hair styling, combined with excellent communication skills, will ensure each customer leaves feeling confident and satisfied. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your expertise while fostering a welcoming environment that celebrates individual style and creativity.

Duties

Provide expert hair styling and barbering services tailored to each client’s preferences and needs
Consult with clients to understand their desired look and recommend suitable styles or treatments
Maintain a clean, organized workspace adhering to hygiene and safety standards
Build strong relationships with clients through friendly, professional communication
Stay updated on the latest hair trends, techniques, and products to enhance service quality
Manage appointment scheduling efficiently to maximize client satisfaction and operational flow
Promote retail products and additional services to enhance the customer experience

Requirements

Experienced in barbering and confident with all styles
Excellent communication skills in English, capable of understanding client needs clearly
Demonstrated customer service skills, ensuring clients feel valued and comfortable
Knowledge of current hair trends, styling techniques, and grooming products
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards
Certification or licensing in barbering or cosmetology preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain necessary credentials if required
