Sales Executive – EV Charging

Green Plug | Full-time | £30,000 basic + uncapped commission

Job Summary

Green Plug is looking for a confident, motivated and commercially minded Sales Executive to join our growing team.

You’ll be responsible for managing incoming customer enquiries, understanding their requirements, recommending suitable EV charging solutions and converting enquiries into confirmed installations.

This is a target-driven sales role suited to someone who enjoys speaking with customers, building rapport and closing deals. You’ll work across phone and WhatsApp, supported by our AI-assisted sales systems.

Responsibilities

Respond quickly to new customer enquiries.
Contact customers by phone and WhatsApp.
Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable EV charging solutions.
Provide quotations and explain products, pricing and installation requirements.
Follow up leads and quotations to maximise conversions.
Handle objections confidently and close sales.
Maintain accurate customer and sales records.
Work closely with the installation and administration teams.
Work towards daily and weekly sales targets.
Use our CRM and AI-assisted sales systems effectively.

Requirements

Previous sales experience, ideally in a B2C or B2B environment.
Confident and professional telephone manner.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Comfortable asking for the sale and handling objections.
Highly organised with excellent follow-up habits.
Motivated by targets and financial rewards.
Able to explain technical information clearly and simply.
Comfortable using technology, CRM systems and AI tools.
Previous experience in EV charging, renewable energy, solar, electrical services, automotive, telecoms or home improvements would be advantageous.
A full driving licence would be advantageous.
Confidence in front of a camera for occasional Green Plug video and social media content would be preferred.

Sales & Commission

£30,000 basic salary
Uncapped commission
Target of 25 confirmed installations per week
£30 commission for every qualifying installation above the weekly target
Commission paid weekly alongside wages

There is no cap on commission, so strong performance directly increases your earning potential.

Training & Development

Full training will be provided on our products, installation options, pricing, sales process and AI-assisted systems.

You’ll also have the opportunity to spend time with our installation team to develop a practical understanding of EV charger installations.

As Green Plug grows, there will be opportunities to develop into solar PV and home battery storage sales.
