Full job description

We're looking for a motivated NightBaker Assistant to join our growing French bakery team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced bakery, is eager to learn traditional French baking and pastry techniques, and takes pride in producing high-quality products.

Whether you already have some bakery experience or are looking to develop your skills, full training will be provided for the right candidate.

The Role

As a Baker Assistant, you'll support our bakers with the daily production of bread, viennoiserie and pastries, helping ensure everything is prepared to the highest standard.

Your Responsibilities

Prepare and scale ingredients for daily production.
Mix a variety of doughs following our recipes and procedures.
Prepare pastry creams, fillings and other bakery components.
Bake croissants, pain au chocolat and other pastries
Assist with bread production, including dough preparation and shaping.
Help with decorating and finishing bakery products when required.
Monitor baking times and product quality.
Follow food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures at all times.
Maintain a clean, organised and efficient bakery.
Carry out thorough cleaning at the end of each shift.
Work closely with the bakery team to ensure production runs smoothly.
