Interim Director of Income and Engagement (10 Months Fixed Term)

Salary: £75,000 to £78,000 per annum WTE

Hours: 37 hours per week

Location: Farnham, Guildford, Farnborough/Hybrid

Are you passionate about working for a charity that delivers exceptional care? A role with Phyllis Tuckwell gives you the opportunity to make a real difference to people’s lives every day.

We have an exciting opening for an Interim Director of Income and Engagement to join us on a 10-Month Fixed Term contract. This role provides senior leadership across the Income Generation and Marketing & Communications teams, ensuring we maintain strong community engagement, and leading teams to raise over £30,000 a day to run our vital services.

You will ensure continuity of income generation, strengthen supporter engagement, lead high-performing teams, and safeguard the hospice’s brand while driving sustainable growth. This is an exciting opportunity for a collaborative and commercially minded leader with a strong track record of delivering income, inspiring teams, and building lasting relationships in the charity or healthcare sector.

About You

A successful Interim Director of Income and Engagement will have:

Senior Leadership experience in fundraising, marketing and communications, or charity retail.
The ability to deliver income targets and manage multiple streams
Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills
Experience of leading and motivating teams through periods of change
Commitment to the values and mission of Phyllis Tuckwell
