Business Development & Marketing Executive

Harrisons Private Client Solutions / Stumble

We are looking for an energetic, commercially minded Business Development & Marketing Executive to help us grow our businesses and develop our network of professional and trade relationships.

This isn't a role for someone who simply wants to design social media posts.

We are looking for someone who enjoys speaking to people, building relationships, spotting opportunities and turning ideas into activity.

You don't need to be a marketing guru. You do need to be confident, organised, proactive and comfortable picking up the phone.

The Role

You'll work closely with the business owner to help drive several growing areas of the business, with a particular focus on our specific long term projects, our property-related services and our expanding referral network.

Your responsibilities will include:

Building and managing our network of contractors, tradespeople and professional partners
Contacting prospective referral partners and introducing our services
Following up leads and opportunities
Maintaining regular contact with existing partners and referral sources
Helping grow awareness and adoption of Stumble
Identifying potential new commercial relationships
Keeping our CRM and referral information organised and up to date
Coordinating introductions between clients, contractors and professional partners
Scheduling social media and LinkedIn content
Helping turn ideas from the wider team into campaigns and activity
Supporting newsletters, email campaigns and other communications
Monitoring responses and following up enquiries
Helping organise events, networking and promotional activity
Reporting on leads, referrals, activity and results

Who We're Looking For

We're much more interested in attitude and commercial instinct than a long list of marketing qualifications.

You might currently work in sales, recruitment, property, customer service, business development, account management or another role where you've learned how to communicate confidently with people.

You should be someone who:

Is naturally confident speaking to new people
Is comfortable making outbound calls
Enjoys building relationships
Has a sales mentality without being pushy
Is organised and follows things through
Doesn't need to be continually told what to do next
Can manage several different projects at once
Is comfortable using social media and digital systems
Writes clearly and professionally
Is interested in property and business
Wants responsibility and the opportunity to develop

What Matters Most

We don't expect you to arrive knowing everything about marketing.

We can provide tools, systems and support with content.

What is much harder to teach is energy, curiosity, confidence and the desire to make things happen.

If you see an opportunity, we want you to pursue it.

If somebody needs following up, we want you to follow them up.

If there's a good business we should be speaking to, we want you to pick up the phone and start the conversation.

The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to become involved in several growing businesses rather than being restricted to one narrow marketing function.

You'll work directly with the people making the decisions and will have genuine scope to influence how Stumble and our wider referral network develop.

For the right person, there is considerable opportunity for the role to grow alongside the businesses.

Pay: £26,000.00-£32,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Watford WD25
