Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter and Decorator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming spaces through expert painting and decorating techniques, ensuring high-quality finishes that meet client specifications. Your skills will help create vibrant, welcoming environments in a variety of settings, from residential to commercial projects. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about craftsmanship and visual enhancement, eager to contribute to projects that make a lasting impact.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other decorative finishes with precision and care.
Follow project specifications and safety guidelines diligently throughout each job.
Communicate effectively with clients and team members to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress.
Maintain a clean work environment by organising tools and disposing of waste responsibly.
Drive company vehicles as needed to transport materials and equipment between sites.

Qualifications

Proven experience in construction painting and decorating or related trades.
Strong communication skills for clear interactions with clients and team members.
Valid driving license with the ability to operate a vehicle safely across various locations.
Knowledge of different painting techniques, surface preparation methods, and decorating styles.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
Good physical stamina for standing, climbing ladders, and working at heights over extended periods.
