Qualified / Time-Served Joiner

Aroha Escapes | Full-time | Modular Buildings, Garden Rooms & Extensions

Aroha Escapes is a growing joinery company specialising in high-quality modular buildings, garden rooms and extensions. We’re looking for a qualified, time-served Joiner to join our team and play an important role in delivering our projects to a high standard.

This is a hands-on role working as part of a skilled team, with projects ranging from bespoke garden rooms, and large modular buildings through to extensions.

The Role

As a Joiner at Aroha Escapes, you’ll be involved in the construction and installation of timber structures and internal finishes, working both in our workshop and on site.

Your responsibilities will include:

Carrying out high-quality joinery and carpentry work
Studwork, roofing and timber framing
Fitting doors, windows, skirting, and other joinery
Working from drawings and specifications
Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
Working as part of a team to keep projects on schedule
Maintaining a high standard of workmanship, accuracy and finish

About You

We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, a great outlook and has a genuine eye for detail.

Essential:

Qualified or time-served Joiner / Carpenter
Solid practical experience in construction and joinery
Good understanding of timber construction and building methods
Able to read and work from drawings
Confident using a wide range of hand and power tools
High standards of workmanship
Reliable, hardworking and punctual
Able to work well independently and as part of a team
Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

Experience with first and second fix joinery
Experience working from detailed construction drawings
