Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, alongside the ability to work collaboratively within a pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

Accurately dispense medications as per prescriptions while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Provide exceptional patient care by answering queries regarding medications and their administration.
Collaborate with pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to maintain an organised and efficient workflow.
Assist in the preparation of medication orders and ensure proper labelling of all dispensed items.
Maintain accurate records of medication dispensation and inventory management.
Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the pharmacy environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills related to medication administration and patient care.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong understanding of medication administration practices and patient care principles.
Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
