Full job description

We are HIRING at Furn Contracts Ltd for a Senior Office Administrator to join the Contracts Team!

Location: Basildon, Essex
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent, Onsite
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday - 8am - 5pm

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced and proactive Office Administrator to join our professional and friendly team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being at the centre of a busy office operation.

The Role:
As our Office Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the business. Working closely with our management and operational teams, you will ensure administrative processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:
-Providing comprehensive administrative support across the business.
-Answering telephone calls and responding to email enquiries professionally.
-Preparing, processing and maintaining accurate company documentation.
-Assisting with compliance administration and record keeping.
-Liaising with clients, contractors, suppliers and site personnel.
-Maintaining electronic filing systems and internal databases.
-Preparing reports, quotations and general correspondence.
-Supporting management with a variety of administrative tasks.
-Ensuring office systems and procedures operate efficiently.

About You
We're looking for someone who has:
-Previous experience in an Office Administrator or similar administrative role.
-Experience within the asbestos, construction or related industry (preferred but not essential).
-Excellent organisational and time management skills.
-Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
-Excellent communication.
-A confident and professional telephone manner.
-Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
-The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workloads and work both independently and as part of a team.
-A positive, reliable and proactive attitude.
