Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable individuals to join our team as Bar Staff. This role involves providing excellent customer service in a lively hospitality environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for serving drinks, maintaining a clean and welcoming bar area, and supporting the overall operation of the venue. Previous experience in a similar setting is essential, This paid position offers an opportunity to develop hospitality skills and work within a dynamic team.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages to customers in accordance with standard recipes and safety guidelines
Take orders efficiently and accurately, ensuring prompt service
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware and utensils
Check identification to verify legal drinking age and adhere to alcohol licensing laws
Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
Provide friendly and attentive customer service, addressing any questions or concerns professionally
Follow food safety standards and hygiene regulations at all times
Assist with setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of shifts

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality or food service is desirable but not essential; full training will be provided
Knowledge of food safety standards is beneficial
Ability to serve drinks efficiently while maintaining high levels of customer service
Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks during busy periods
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Strong time management skills to ensure timely service during shifts
Ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment
Friendly demeanour with excellent communication skills
