Overview

We are seeking a friendly and versatile Barista/All Rounder to join our dynamic team. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality beverages (experience with Matcha would be ideal), providing excellent customer service, and supporting various operational tasks within our establishment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering a welcoming experience and possess a keen eye for detail. This position offers an engaging environment for those eager to develop their skills in food and beverage service while contributing to a vibrant team atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
Greet customers warmly, taking orders efficiently whilst providing excellent customer service.
Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals as required.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with food safety regulations.
Handle cash transactions accurately using the till system and manage basic maths calculations for change and sales records.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
Restock supplies, organise workstations, and keep the premises tidy throughout shifts.
Support team members with additional duties such as serving or cleaning during quieter periods.

Requirements

Previous barista experience is p essential
Knowledge of food safety standards is desirable to maintain hygiene compliance.
Experience in serving customers and handling cash transactions confidently.
Basic maths skills to manage payments accurately and perform simple calculations.
Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities to handle busy service times efficiently.
Ability to work well within a team as well as independently when required.
A friendly, approachable demeanour with a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or peak hours if necessary.
