Full job description

Job Title: Therapeutic Support Worker (Children’s Service)

Location:   Bilston WV14

Salary:  Salary Up to £30,486

Sleep Ins: £60 with a potential of earning of up to £30,486 if you completed an average of 6 sleeps ins a month

Other Benefits:    

£1000 bonus upon completion of Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare (England) within the agreed timescale
£1000 Refer a friend scheme (paid on completion of probation)

Hours:  Average 40 hours per week (7.30am - 11.00pm)

Rota: 1 on 2 off

Contract:    Permanent

Job Summary:

This is a wonderful opportunity to start or continue your career in children's care. This position is working in our home in Bilston, supporting 5 children with Learning Disabilities. This home has been been rated “Outstanding” with Ofsted for the past two years.
Every day as a Therapeutic Support Worker is different. You may be accompanying the children to appointments, or enabling them to follow their specific interests. Daily you will assist with personal care, complete daily records, and administer medication. You will create positive relationships with the children & young people, meeting their needs and always safeguarding them.

What skills do you need to be a successful Therapeutic Support Worker?

Driving Licence

Qualification & Experience

Experience in Residential childcare (preferred, but not essential)
Hold a Diploma Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent (for qualified roles only)
