The Role

We’re seeking a proactive and organised Resource Assistant to support our Engineering department. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining equipment, preparing materials, and ensuring our workshops and learning environments operate efficiently and safely. Working closely with lecturers, specialist practitioners, and students, you’ll help deliver a high‑quality practical learning experience aligned with industry standards.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Manage and maintain engineering equipment and resources, ensuring they are safe, operational, and ready to support high‑quality teaching and learning.
Prepare and organise materials, consumables, and equipment for practical sessions, enabling smooth delivery of curriculum activities.
Operate and maintain stock control systems, including receiving, checking, storing, and monitoring equipment and materials.
Contribute to a safe and efficient learning environment by adhering to maintenance schedules, health and safety standards, and security procedures.
Provide administrative support and demonstrate initiative in maintaining an organised, clean, and well‑run curriculum area.
