Full job description

Beyond Futures is recruiting on behalf of a children’s residential provider for an exciting opportunity within a solo children’s home in Bradford.

We are seeking either an experienced Registered Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager to join a provider committed to delivering high-quality care and positive outcomes for children and young people.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key leadership role within a children’s residential setting, supporting the development of the service and ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the day-to-day operation of the children’s home.
Ensure the home operates in accordance with Ofsted regulations, Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
Promote positive outcomes and wellbeing for children and young people.
Create and maintain a safe, nurturing and child-centred environment.
Lead, motivate and develop the residential care team.
Conduct staff supervisions, appraisals and performance reviews.
Manage staffing rotas and ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained.
Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Build positive relationships with local authorities, social workers, families and other professionals.
Drive continuous improvement and contribute to the ongoing success of the service.

Essential Requirements

Hold a Level 5 qualification relevant to the management of Children’s Residential Services (essential).
Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within a children’s residential setting.
Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices.
Ability to lead and inspire a team to achieve outstanding outcomes for children and young people.
