Full job description

Overview

Grain Lab Assistant/Farm Administrator required to start asap for approx 6-8 weeks.

Hopefully to lead to permanent part time or full time employment to assist with the daily admin operations of our agricultural/ haulage enterprise.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail and be equally happy working as part of a small team or on their own

Responsibilities:

For temporary position -

Weighbridge operation & grain sampling and recording of resulting data

Added responsibilities for Permanent position -

Inputting financial data to farm/haulage accounts and creating invoices etc

TASCC compliance.

General office duties

Skills and Qualifications:

Proficiency in relevant software and computer skills.

Strong organisational and time management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.

Driving license and own transport required

A background knowledge of agricultural/haulage administration and/or weighbridge/grain sampling/TASCC experience would be advantageous.

Salary dependent on experience

Hours are Mon- Fri 8am-5.30pm from now until mid October but permanent hours outwith this period can be flexible for the right person

Pay: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
