Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your management and leadership skills within a dynamic childcare setting, fostering early childhood development and learning.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
Supervise and support children during playtime, mealtimes, and rest periods
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children in your care at all times
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's development and activities
Organise group activities that encourage teamwork, creativity, and independence
Manage daily classroom organisation to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
Lead by example in demonstrating positive behaviour management techniques
Collaborate with colleagues to develop programme improvements and share best practices

Experience

Proven experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and child development stages
Previous management or leadership experience within a childcare environment is desirable
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Experience in organising activities for young children that support their developmental milestones
Valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting children or supplies as required

This role requires a committed professional with excellent organisational skills, the ability to lead a team effectively, and a genuine passion for supporting young children's growth. The position is paid and offers valuable experience in early childhood education within a supportive environment.

Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
