Full job description

Cygnets Art School North Bristol is looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, and reliable new teaching assistant to help run our classes! Please read all information carefully, as this is a part-time, freelance position and may not suit everyone.

Cygnets is a fine art school franchise for children (ages 5-13), teaching traditional drawing, painting, and sculpture using professional materials. Classes run after school and weekends during term time, plus holidays.

Role: Assist term-time and holiday classes at the North Bristol branch, with groups of up to 16 students.

Training: Training provided on site by the teacher of the classes.

Hours:

Term time: Tuesdays 4:15-5:15pm, Saturdays 10:00am-11:00am
Holidays: Various half term and holiday hours available

Pay: £15/hr (includes preparation and cleanup time).

Requirements:

Artistic skills, particularly drawing and painting
Passion for working with children
Reliability and good organization
(Preferred) experience with children and local school connections

This role provides great experience for aspiring artists and creatives, looking to develop their professional profile and experience.

Pay: £15.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
