Chef de Partie – Full Time

Burton Latimer, Northamptonshire

Our company is offering an exciting opportunity for a driven and ambitious individual to join our fast‑paced, award‑winning restaurant. With over 40 years of excellence and a strong reputation for delivering exceptional modern Italian cuisine, we are looking to expand our talented kitchen team.

We are seeking a full‑time Chef de Partie to support our Head and Sous Chefs in delivering a high‑quality fresh‑food operation. This is an excellent role for someone who thrives under pressure, embraces change, and takes pride in producing outstanding dishes.

About You

The ideal candidate will be:

Proactive, adaptable, and confident working in a busy kitchen
A strong team player who can also work independently when required
Highly committed, reliable, and trustworthy
Skilled in producing high‑quality dishes consistently

Skills & Experience Required

NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery or equivalent qualification
Valid Food Hygiene certification
Strong cooking skills and passion for fresh food
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in good‑quality kitchens
Availability to work evenings and weekends

Key Responsibilities

Preparing and cooking for a restaurant capacity of up to 120 covers
Working effectively as part of a cohesive kitchen team
Cooking for parties and special events
Maintaining accurate paperwork and completing required checks
Supporting the Head Chef in upholding high standards and smooth kitchen operations
Monitoring and controlling stock levels regularly
Cooking from scratch using established recipes
Catering for special dietary requirements
Managing portion control and minimising waste
Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety and Food Hygiene regulations
Preparing dishes to the restaurant’s specific standards and expectations
Following all procedures and maintaining consistency across service
Completing cleaning tasks thoroughly and efficiently

Schedule:

45 hrs per week
Tuesday – Saturday

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £30,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
