Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for driving and delivering outstanding customer service. The position is paid and suitable for those who enjoy working independently while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.

Duties

Safely operate company vans, in compliance with road safety regulations
Load and unload goods, often involving heavy lifting, with care and attention to safety procedures
Ensure accurate delivery of products to clients or designated locations
Communicate effectively with myself and managers at the depo
Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the vehicle
Complete all necessary documentation accurately, all done on a scanner
Follow health and safety protocols at all times during deliveries

Requirements

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role within logistics or warehouse environments
Valid driver’s licence appropriate for the vehicle type (e.g., <PERSON> driver licence)
Experience with commercial driving and knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations
Ability to perform some lifting when required, demonstrating physical fitness
Strong communication skills to interact professionally with myself and team members
Organised with excellent time management skills to meet delivery schedules
A clean driving record and the ability to pass background checks are mandatory
