Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Pizza Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary talents in a fast-paced restaurant environment, delivering exceptional dining experiences to our customers. The position is paid and suitable for individuals with a keen interest in food preparation and kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

Prepare pizza dough, sauces, and toppings according to established recipes and standards
Cook pizzas to perfection using traditional or specialised cooking methods
Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
Assist in meal preparation for other menu items as required
Monitor stock levels of ingredients and notify management of shortages or expiry dates
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods
Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar kitchen role, preferably within a restaurant setting
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices
Strong skills in meal preparation, culinary techniques, and food presentation
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Previous experience serving customers or working in a hospitality environment is advantageous
A passion for creating delicious pizzas and delivering excellent customer service

Pay: £15.00-£21.00 per hour
