ABOUT US
We’re looking for an exceptional Grill Chef to join the team at Supernova South Kensington, our bold and energetic smashed burger concept in the heart of London. Known for its vibrant atmosphere and crave-worthy burgers, Supernova is setting a new benchmark in the capital’s quick-service dining scene — and South Kensington is where the magic happens.

Supernova is part of BVC Hopsitality, which operates a portfolio of globally recognised food concepts including NAC, Crème, 74 Duke, and Le Café NAC. With thriving venues in London, Paris, and the Middle East, BVC Hospitality blends creativity and operational excellence to deliver standout hospitality experiences.

This is your opportunity to join our Supernova location in one of London’s most elegant and culturally rich neighbourhoods — working with a passionate team to serve fast, flavour-packed, high-quality food in an elegant, high-energy, and fast-paced environment.

POSITION SUMMARY
As Grill Chef at Supernova South Kensington, you’ll be front and centre in the kitchen, grilling up our signature smashed burgers and sides to perfection. This role is ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, takes pride in speed and consistency, and loves the vibe of a fast-paced, open kitchen.

You'll work closely with the management team to uphold Supernova’s high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and team spirit — and help drive the energy and flavour that make us a Soho favourite.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Cook and prepare burgers, sides, and other menu items to Supernova standards during service
Maintain high levels of speed, consistency, and presentation throughout shifts
Follow all food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness procedures
Perform under pressure during busy periods, ensuring orders are accurate and timely
Communicate effectively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams for smooth service
Support stock control, portioning, and waste reduction
Participate in food prep, cleaning, and opening/closing duties
Foster a fun, supportive, and energetic kitchen culture

KEY REQUIREMENTS

At least 1 year of grill or line cook experience in a fast-paced kitchen, ideally in burgers or casual dining
Passion for delivering great food fast — with consistency and care
Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene
Cool-headed under pressure and service-driven
Proactive, hands-on, and a strong team player
Reliable, punctual, and committed to high standards
Able to work evenings, weekends, and busy trading periods
