Full job description

Baylis Westgate is looking for a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician to join our growing aftersales team. As an extension of the already established and successful Baylis Group, our brand-new Gloucester site will represent Mitsubishi, Leapmotor, and a range of quality used vehicles.

You'll carry out servicing, repairs, maintenance and diagnostics while delivering high standards of workmanship and customer care. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new site while being supported by the experience, reputation and stability of an established motor group.

With manufacturer training, EV training and ongoing development opportunities available, this is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career with Baylis.

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician, you will:

Diagnose, service and repair customer vehicles.
Carry out routine maintenance and vehicle health checks.
Complete customer video health checks.
Identify and advise on any additional work required.
Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and company standards.
Keep up to date with the latest vehicle technology through ongoing manufacturer training.
Maintain a safe, organised and productive working environment.

About You

You will:

Have at least 3 years' experience working on light vehicles.
Hold a full UK Driving Licence.
Have strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Be organised, reliable and detail-focused.
Enjoy working as part of a team.
Take pride in delivering excellent customer service.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
Alternate Saturdays: 8:30am – 12:30pm
