Job Introduction

We’re looking for a Casual Domestic Assistant to join our Sodexo team at Colchester Primary Care Centre. In this vital role, you’ll help create a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your work will directly support health and wellbeing throughout the hospital. If you have a strong work ethic, an eye for detail, and take pride in delivering exceptional service, this is your chance to be part of something greater. What you’ll do:

Maintain cleanliness in patient rooms, wards, communal spaces, restrooms, and other hospital areas
Strip and clean beds, collect used linen for processing
Clean surfaces, including desks, ceilings, vents, blinds, and walls, to maintain a hygienic environment
Perform daily tasks such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, floor polishing, and replenishing supplies
Empty waste bins and manage refuse in line with hospital protocols
Promote and maintain a safe, healthy environment for all patients, staff, and visitors
