Overview

Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Kitchen Porter and become an essential part of delivering exceptional dining experiences. In this lively role, you'll support the kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly. Your energy and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment for both staff and guests, contributing to the overall success of our restaurant, hotel, or catering service. Responsibilities

Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, dishes, and work surfaces to uphold hygiene standards
Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or organizing ingredients under supervision
Support chefs and kitchen staff in maintaining an organized workspace during busy service times
Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling procedures are followed efficiently
Restock supplies and ensure all areas of the kitchen are tidy and well-maintained

Follow health and safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe working environment

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm is key!

Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene standards and safety protocols
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
