Reservations Clerk

As a Reservations Clerk at The Holly Hospital, you will provide an outstanding service to patients. Working closely with all relevant departments to ensure a smooth and effective service to all patient’s pre-surgery by accurately and efficiently scheduling Theatre day cases and inpatient admissions. This is a fast-paced role, often subject to last minute changes so the ability to proactively react to change is essential

As a Reservations Clerk, you will:

Have great communication skills and be able to explain information to patients in a way that’s clear, sympathetic and easy to understand regarding their procedures
literate willing to learn inhouse systems and confident mailbox management
Be confident liaising with Patients, Consultants, Anaesthetists and other internal stakeholders
Proven ability to step outside of your comfort zone and adapt to challenges at short notice
