Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various sites. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, safety standards, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with hands-on electrical experience to contribute to diverse projects in a dynamic environment.

Duties

Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in accordance with safety regulations and technical specifications.
Troubleshoot electrical issues using hand tools and power tools efficiently to identify faults and implement effective solutions.
Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics accurately.
Assist in the planning and execution of electrical installations for new constructions or renovations.
Ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety standards, maintaining a safe working environment at all times.
Document work activities clearly and accurately for record-keeping purposes.
Collaborate with other tradespeople and project managers to complete tasks on schedule.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Electrician with practical knowledge of electrical systems and components.
Proficiency in using hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, wire strippers, as well as power tools including drills and saws.
Strong electrical experience with the ability to read technical drawings and schematics effectively.
Valid electrical licence or certification as required by local regulations.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently or within a team in a fast-paced environment.
Good organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Physical capability to perform manual tasks including lifting heavy equipment when necessary.
