Self-Employed Labourer

CallMeBuilders
Leicester & Surrounding Areas

Job Type: Self-Employed / Freelance / Contract
Pay: £15.00–£20.00 per hour (depending on experience and job type)

About the Role

CallMeBuilders is looking for reliable, hardworking self-employed labourers to join our growing contractor network across Leicester and the surrounding areas.

You'll be offered a variety of property maintenance and labouring work, supporting cleaning teams, property clearances, renovations, and general site tasks. You can choose the jobs that suit your availability.

Responsibilities

Assisting with property clearances and strip-outs
Loading and unloading materials
Moving furniture and heavy items
General site labouring
Assisting cleaners and tradespeople
Basic demolition and preparation work
Maintaining clean and safe work areas
Following health and safety procedures
Representing CallMeBuilders professionally

Requirements

Previous labouring or construction experience preferred but not essential
Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Good communication skills
Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential
Own transport is advantageous
CSCS Card desirable but not essential (depending on the work)
Right to work in the UK
Self-employed or willing to work on a self-employed basis
