Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team in delivering exceptional cleanliness and comfort across our facilities. This vital role involves overseeing daily cleaning operations, maintaining high standards of hygiene, and ensuring a welcoming environment for staff, visitors, and clients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, possess extensive janitorial experience, and have a keen eye for quality and efficiency. Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the housekeeping team to ensure all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety
Develop and implement cleaning schedules, procedures, and quality control measures to optimize efficiency and consistency
Conduct regular inspections of all facilities, including guest rooms, common areas, offices, and specialized spaces such as hospital environments
Coordinate with management to prioritize cleaning tasks based on occupancy levels and operational needs
Train staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment; place orders as needed to ensure uninterrupted operations
Enforce health and safety regulations related to commercial cleaning practices and hospital standards

Requirements

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles, with demonstrated leadership capabilities as a Head Housekeeper or supervisor
Extensive janitorial experience in diverse settings such as hospitals or large-scale facilities
Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and safety procedures
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Exceptional communication skills to lead teams effectively and collaborate with other departments
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining high-quality standards
A proactive attitude with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining a hygienic environment
