Job Title: Blind Fitter

Location: Derby and surrounding areas

Salary: Starting from £27,000 DOE

Job Description: As a Blind Fitter at Castle Blinds, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive top-notch service by professionally installing blinds, shutters, and curtains. This position is well-suited for an individual with strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Blind Installation:

Safely and skillfully install a variety of blinds, shutters and curtains in accordance with company and industry standards.
Adjust blinds to ensure they operate smoothly and meet customer expectations.

Customer Service:

Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer questions and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Educate customers on the proper use and care of their installed blinds.

Quality Control:

Conduct quality control checks to ensure all installations meet the highest standards of workmanship and aesthetics.
Identify and address any issues or defects promptly.

Safety:

Adhere to all safety guidelines and precautions to minimize workplace accidents and ensure the well-being of both customers and team members.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of installations, including measurements and materials used.
Submit installation reports and paperwork in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in blind, shutter or curtain installation would be highly beneficial, but not essential.
Strong attention to detail and precision.
Ability to use hand and power tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and customer service skills.
Comfort working at various job sites, including residential and commercial locations.
Full Clean UK Driving License
