Full job description

Office Co-ordinator

Location: Derby City

Hours: 24 per week (Permanent)

Salary: £17 per hour, £21,216 per annum

Women’s Work is a National Award-Winning Charity founded in 2003. We aim to deliver a holistic, person-centred support service to vulnerable and disadvantaged women with complex health and social needs. We do this by ensuring they can access support, education and information to raise self-esteem and confidence, empowering them to make positive life choices resulting in improved health and wellbeing.

We are seeking a talented, motivated and highly organised Office Co-ordinator to co-ordinate and manage the office and administration functions at Women’s Work, as well as providing an efficient, highly confidential secretariat/PA service to the CEO.

The Role

As Office Co-ordinator, you will oversee the day-to-day administration and office functions of the charity, ensuring systems, processes and facilities operate efficiently. You will support recruitment and onboarding processes, coordinate health and safety requirements, manage office resources and act as a key liaison for building maintenance and IT support.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate the smooth running of the office and administration functions
Provide administrative support for recruitment, induction and employee lifecycle processes
Manage DBS applications and renewals
Coordinate staff training requests and records
Organise and minute meetings, including Board and trustee meetings
Manage the CEO's diary, meetings and travel arrangements
Support supervision and probation meeting scheduling
Maintain office systems, records and filing processes
Coordinate health and safety requirements and building compliance checks
Liaise with contractors, IT providers and maintenance services
Manage office supplies and resources
Oversee the organisation's main email account and communication processes
Supervise and support a small administration team
Contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative systems and procedures
Provide flexible support across the organisation as required

About You

The successful applicant will be self-motivated and able to demonstrate a high level of initiative and autonomy in their work. They will be organised and a skilled multi-tasker, as this is a multidimensional, dynamic role.

Additional Information
An Enhanced DBS check will be required.
