Chef de Partie – P Louise Café, Stockport

Salary: £14.50 per hour
Location: Stockport, Greater Manchester
Employment Type: Zero Hour, Full Time and Weekend/Part Time Positions Available

The Role:
We’re looking for a confident, hands-on Chef de Partie to take ownership of a section and help deliver high-quality dishes during busy service. You’ll play a key role in maintaining standards, supporting junior team members, and keeping the kitchen running smoothly.

This role suits someone who thrives under pressure, takes pride in their section, and wants to grow within a dynamic kitchen.

Key Responsibilities

· Running and maintaining your section during prep and service

· Preparing and cooking dishes to spec with consistency and speed

· Ensuring excellent presentation and quality control

· Supporting prep chefs and junior staff when needed

· Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and safety

· Managing stock levels and communicating shortages

· Assisting with deliveries and correct storage (FIFO)

· Helping maintain a clean, organised kitchen at all times

What We’re Looking For

· Previous experience as a CDP or strong Commis ready to step up

· Solid understanding of kitchen operations and food safety

· Ability to stay calm and focused during busy service

· Strong teamwork and communication skills

· Reliable, punctual, and professional

· Passion for food and pride in your work
