Office Assistant

Location: Doncaster

Salary: National Minimum Wage

Hours: 9:00am to 5:15pm, Monday to Friday

Benefits:

We are looking for an organised and reliable Office Assistant to join our well-established team in our Doncaster office at Sills & Betteridge LLP.

This is a key legal administration role supporting the smooth running of our busy office. You will work closely with colleagues across the firm, providing essential administrative support and contributing to a professional and positive working environment.

This opportunity would suit someone at an early stage in their career who is looking to develop their skills within a law firm or professional services environment. No previous experience is required, as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

Managing incoming and outgoing post, including scanning and distribution
Maintaining stationery supplies and supporting ordering processes
Distributing internal post and messages promptly
Providing reception and telephone cover during busy periods and holidays
Supporting wider administrative tasks, including file opening and document preparation

About You

You will be organised, dependable and eager to learn, with the confidence to work effectively as part of a busy office team. In addition, you will have:

A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and IT systems
An understanding of confidentiality and data protection
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
A proactive and professional approach to your work
The ability to manage changing priorities and meet deadlines
