Full job description

We’re looking for an organised, proactive and reliable person to join our small and growing business as our Operations & Fulfillment Coordinator.

This is a varied role covering order fulfillment, stock and warehouse management, customer support and general administration.

The role is based at 22.5 hours per week, working 1.00pm - 5.30pm, with a salary of £26,000–£28,000 per year pro-rata.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll take ownership of customer orders from picking and checking through to packaging and dispatch, as well as keeping stock accurate and the warehouse organised, tidy and safe.
You’ll handle routine customer enquiries, manage stock on Shopify, raise purchase orders, send invoices, follow up outstanding payments and support general business administration.
We’re a small business, so we’re looking for someone who is happy to get stuck in, work independently and take ownership of what needs doing.

About you

You’ll have experience in an administrative, operational, warehouse, fulfillment or customer-facing role, including experience with stock control, purchase orders and invoicing.
You’ll be highly organised, accurate and comfortable using IT systems. You’ll have good customer service skills and be someone who takes pride in quality and doing things properly.
Experience with Shopify, and within the engineering trade would be useful but isn't essential.
You’ll also need a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle, as the role includes taking outgoing orders to the post office.
