Job Summary

Join our dynamic team as a Wrong Fuel Drain Technician, where you'll be at the forefront of vehicle safety and maintenance. In this vital role, you will respond promptly to fuel misfueling incidents, expertly drain contaminated fuel from vehicles, and restore them to safe operational condition. Your expertise will help drivers get back on the road quickly while ensuring environmental safety and compliance with industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical skills and technical knowledge in a fast-paced, rewarding environment.

Responsibilities

Respond swiftly to reports of wrong fuel incidents, assessing vehicle needs on-site or at designated locations
Safely drain contaminated fuel from vehicles using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring no further damage occurs
Use hand tools, power tools, plumbing equipment, and carpentry skills to access fuel tanks and perform repairs if necessary
Conduct basic mechanical inspections to identify potential issues related to fuel systems or vehicle components
Assist with heavy lifting tasks involving fuel tanks or vehicle parts, following safety protocols at all times
Maintain detailed records of each service performed, including procedures followed and parts used
Ensure all work complies with environmental regulations and safety standards

Experience

Proven experience in mechanical work, plumbing, or automotive repair environments
Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques
Knowledge of vehicle fuel systems and basic math for measurements and calculations
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various conditions
Experience with commercial driving or operating service vehicles is a plus but not mandatory
Familiarity with carpentry or construction-related tasks is advantageous
Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills
