Overview

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Commis Chef or Chef de Partie, where your passion for food and dedication to excellence will shine. In this role, you will be an essential part of creating memorable dining experiences by preparing and cooking high-quality dishes in a fast-paced, vibrant kitchen environment. Responsibilities

Assist in food preparation and cooking, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and presentation expectations
Support the kitchen team in meal assembly, garnishing, and plating to ensure timely service
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and hygiene regulations
Follow recipes, portion controls, and cooking techniques to ensure consistency across all menu items
Contribute to inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying supervisors of shortages or expired ingredients
Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
Serve dishes promptly and professionally, providing excellent customer service when interacting with front-of-house staff

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar kitchen role within a restaurant or hospitality setting
Strong understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Hands-on experience with meal preparation, culinary techniques, and kitchen equipment operation
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for developing culinary skills is essential
