Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Block Paving Specialist and bring outdoor spaces to life with expertly laid paving solutions! This role is perfect for motivated individuals who enjoy working outdoors, using their hands, and creating durable, visually appealing surfaces. You will be responsible for installing high-quality block paving for driveways, pathways, patios, and other landscaping projects. Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces by clearing debris, leveling ground, and setting foundations to ensure optimal paving results
Use hand tools such as trowels, shovels, and levels to lay blocks accurately according to project specifications
Operate power tools including compactors and saws safely to cut and shape paving materials
Install block paving with attention to detail, ensuring proper alignment, jointing, and finishing for durability and aesthetic appeal
Collaborate with team members to coordinate project timelines and maintain a clean work environment
Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations
Conduct quality checks throughout the installation process to meet high standards of craftsmanship

Skills

Proficiency in using hand tools such as trowels, hammers, levels, and shovels for precise work
5 years + experience preferred
Experience with bricklaying techniques specific to paving applications
Knowledge of masonry principles to ensure stable and long-lasting installations
Ability to operate power tools safely and efficiently in a construction environment
Strong understanding of health and safety practices relevant to outdoor construction projects

Required

Must have own van
Will need to be CIS registered
Travel or reimbursement of costs will be provided if working on jobs our of area.

Pay: £170.00-£190.00 per day
