Job Overview

Love Churros Watford is seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our retail establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in food production and hospitality, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising staff, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and managing the overall store performance to create a welcoming environment for our customers. The Store Supervisor will play a pivotal role in maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and team morale.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate daily store activities, ensuring smooth operation throughout the shift.
Oversee food preparation, cooking, serving, and food safety procedures to maintain high standards of hygiene and quality.
Lead and motivate team members, providing guidance on food production, customer service, and operational tasks.
Manage staff schedules, delegate responsibilities, and monitor performance to optimise productivity.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the store environment.
Assist in training new employees, including barista experience if applicable.
Maintain stock levels, organise inventory checks, and coordinate with suppliers as needed.
Handle customer enquiries or complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction.
Uphold cleanliness standards across all areas of the store including kitchen and service zones.
Support promotional activities and contribute to creating an engaging shopping experience.

Experience

Proven management or supervisory experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential.
Strong background in food production, cooking, serving, or food preparation is highly desirable.
Experience working in a restaurant or kitchen environment with culinary expertise preferred.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality management.
Previous experience supervising staff such as baristas or kitchen personnel is advantageous.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage operational challenges effectively.
Knowledge of restaurant operations combined with excellent organisational skills will be beneficial for success in this role.
