Area Sales Surveyor (aka income-generating pest solutionist)

Job Type: Full-time

OTE: £80,000 to £100,000

Salary basic: £30,000

We are a premium based pest control service. We sell solutions that work to established consumers and businesses looking for a detailed, thorough and effective service done by professional loyal and excellent service technicians. We pride ourselves on our humane approach and pest prevention service.

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Area Sales Surveyor to join our team.

This person needs to eat, sleep and breathe sales. Every word out your mouth convinces the customer that you believe it your product – which will be easy because we are passionate about what we do.

About us:

We are an award-winning company offering pest control, building maintenance and related services but also have a passion for saving bees and the environment.

With offices in Gomshall, we serve customers all over the UK. Our approach to pest control is humane and we believe in reducing pesticide use. And prevention is always better than cure.

About You

Our ideal candidate will have proven experience of putting together sales propositions for services rather than products.

Strong communication skills are essential, with the ability to present complex solutions to varied, non-expert audiences. In addition, you will be:

You’re used to answering phone calls at 5:29 pm when you’re due to finish your day at 5:30 pm.
Confident with an outgoing personality and able to laugh at yourself
Huge drive, ambition, and motivation for success
Team player
Character, integrity, and professionalism
Outstanding work ethic
Extremely organised with the ability to manage your time effectively
Proven sales ability
Excellent interpersonal skills
CRM experience
Ability to adapt to dealing with clients who range from domestic to large companies
Experience in Pest Control would be advantageous as would BPCA Level 2 qualification.

Key Areas of Responsibility

You will also push for the work, not just wait for the phone to ring
Understand our business, generate new ideas to enhance performance and identify new opportunities to grow
Observe, identify and communicate ways to improve the team, our process and the company.
Bring your personality to work and contribute to our culture
Use the CRM systems and prepare quotations
Be an enthusiastic presence at trade shows and events
Have the ability to speak to customers from all walks of life from Lords and celebrities to plain Jane and Joe Soap
Visit a variety of sites and identify pests and access and suggest solutions

For the successful candidate, we offer:

Competitive basic starting salary of £30,000 per annum
OTE £80,000 - 100,000
A competitive commission package which is uncapped
Commission is paid monthly in arrears
Quarterly bonus for hitting sales target

Six weeks of training plus ongoing support
A service range of over 60 individual services to sell to new and existing clients
