About Us:
We are an auction house based in Kinning Park, Glasgow and we are looking for a motivated and confident Office Assistant to join our small team.

Role Overview:
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with office experience who is comfortable with a variety of administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment. The role involves handling customer payments, responding to phone calls and emails, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be organised, professional, and able to work independently while also collaborating effectively with the team.

Key Responsibilities:

Handling customer payments and processing transactions efficiently.
Responding to customer inquiries via phone and email.
Assisting with the preparation and management of auction items.
Reaching out to businesses and potential sellers to gather new items for upcoming auctions.
General office administrative support as needed.

Requirements:

Previous office experience is essential.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Confidence in handling customer interactions and transactions.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive, with excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Additional Information:

No auction experience is necessary as you will be provided with full training on our software.
Full-time hours are Monday - Friday 9am till 4pm
