Overview

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented TEMP PART TIME HIRE CONTROLLER / ADMINISTRATOR'S ASSISTANT to provide essential support during maternity cover. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong administrative skills and office experience to contribute to a professional environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with various administrative tasks, ensuring smooth daily operations, and supporting the team with organisational duties. This position is ideal for someone seeking flexible part-time work within a dynamic organisation.

Duties

Managing and maintaining accurate data entry across multiple systems, including our hire system and excel.
Assisting with accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely processing of invoices and payments from time to time.
Organising deliveries and helping organise transport routes.
Handling incoming phone calls with professionalism and courtesy, providing excellent phone etiquette.
Supporting administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and document preparation.
Assisting with correspondence, email management, and general clerical duties to ensure efficient office operations.
Updating records and maintaining organisation of digital files using Microsoft Office tools.

Skills

Proven office experience with strong organisational skills.
Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience with hire industry is ideal but not a deal breaker.
Good phone etiquette and communication skills to handle internal and external enquiries professionally.
Ability to work independently whilst managing multiple priorities efficiently.
Able to work amongst a team.

This role offers a valuable opportunity to develop your administrative expertise within a supportive team environment while contributing effectively during a temporary maternity cover period.

Candidate to start asap, cover required until end of 2027.

Pay: From £12.95 per hour
