Full job description

Marks Electrical are a Leicester based online retailer. Specialising in home entertainment and domestic appliances, delivering to happy customers, nationally for over 30 years.

The Role

Working as part of the Data Admin Team and reporting to the Data Administration Manger, the successful applicant will be responsible for supporting and managing changes of the business’s website and applications.

Accuracy and attention to detail are paramount in this role as you will be working to tight deadlines and maintaining large volumes of data which is critical to the success of the business.

This role involves working closely with the IT and Marketing functions to ensure that the website is always current.

Main Duties Include

Support data input processes, streamlining AI to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Manage onsite product content, including dimensions, weights, manuals and images.
Create engaging blog and social media content in collaboration with the Design team.
Provide marketing and administrative support across a range of projects.
Liaise with brand partners to obtain SOAs and other required information.
Assist with product pricing and code creation using internal systems, under guidance from the Commercial team.
Support website content and code updates, working closely with the Development team.
Manage Deals Editor and Deals pages, ensuring content is accurate and up to date.
Respond to stock availability and ETA requests from the Sales team.
Build and maintain positive relationships with brand contacts, handling day-to-day communications and administrative requests.

About You

We are looking for a proactive and organised individual with strong Microsoft 365 skills, excellent attention to detail, and good numerical ability.

You will be a confident communicator who enjoys building relationships, has a creative flair with an interest in social media and content creation, and is eager to learn and develop new skills.

Previous experience is advantageous but not essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
