ABOUT WT STORES

WT STORES LIMITED is a growing e-commerce retail business specialising in hair products, jewellery, perfumes and other beauty and fashion-related products.

We sell through our website and a range of online marketplaces and social platforms. As the business continues to grow, we are looking to strengthen our brand presence, develop our customer communications and build a more structured approach to social media, public relations and digital brand engagement.

We are seeking an experienced Social Media & Brand Communications Manager to take responsibility for developing and implementing our brand communications and social media strategy.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

Develop and implement WT Stores' social media and brand communications strategy in line with the company's commercial objectives.
Plan and manage integrated social media and digital communication campaigns across TikTok and other relevant platforms.
Develop campaign and content plans to support product launches, seasonal promotions and key retail periods.
Create and coordinate engaging brand communications that reflect WT Stores' identity and target customer base.
Manage the company's brand messaging across its website, social media platforms and other customer-facing digital channels.
Identify relevant social media trends and develop timely campaigns and communications to increase brand awareness and engagement.
Develop relationships with influencers, content creators, brand partners and other relevant external stakeholders.
Identify and coordinate suitable influencer collaborations, promotional partnerships and PR opportunities.
Monitor online conversations, customer sentiment and brand reputation and recommend appropriate communication responses.
Analyse social media, audience and campaign performance using relevant data and platform analytics.
Prepare regular reports on campaign reach, engagement, audience growth and other relevant communications KPIs.
Use performance data and customer insights to recommend improvements to future campaigns and communications.
Research competitors, customer trends and developments within the beauty, hair, jewellery and fashion retail sectors to identify communication opportunities.
Ensure consistency of the company's brand identity, tone of voice and messaging across all relevant communication channels.
Work closely with the directors to develop communication campaigns that support customer acquisition, retention and sustainable business growth.

Person Specification

Essential:

Degree or equivalent qualification in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Media, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
Previous experience in social media management, public relations, brand communications or digital communications.
Demonstrable experience developing and implementing social media or communications campaigns.
Strong understanding of major social media platforms and digital audience engagement.
Ability to analyse campaign and audience data and use the findings to improve communications strategy.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong understanding of brand positioning, messaging and reputation management.
Ability to plan and manage multiple campaigns and priorities.
Strong organisational and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of the company's communications activity.

Desirable:

Experience within e-commerce, beauty, hair, fashion, jewellery or consumer retail.
Experience working with influencers, creators or brand partnerships.
Experience using social media analytics and reporting tools.
Experience supporting product launches and promotional campaigns within an e-commerce environment.

What We Offer

Salary of £37,000 – £42,000 per annum, depending on experience
Permanent, full-time employment
37.5 hours per week
28 days' annual leave including bank holidays
