Overview

Join our vibrant team as a Dancer and bring energy, artistry, and enthusiasm to every performance! In this dynamic role, you will captivate audiences through expressive movement, engaging public speaking, and inspiring teaching. Whether performing on stage or leading dance workshops, your passion for dance will shine through, creating memorable experiences for spectators and participants alike. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your craft while inspiring others through movement and performance.

Duties

Perform choreographed dance routines confidently on stage during live events and productions
Engage audiences with lively public speaking, introducing performances and connecting with viewers
Lead dance classes and workshops to teach techniques, routines, and the joy of movement to diverse groups
Collaborate with fellow performers and production teams to ensure seamless performances
Maintain proper technique and physical conditioning to deliver energetic and polished routines
Promote upcoming events through energetic presentations and community outreach efforts
Communicate effectively with team members, event organizers, and audiences to ensure a positive experience

Experience

Proven experience in dancing across various styles such as contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, or ballet
Strong public speaking skills with the ability to motivate and engage diverse audiences
Previous teaching or coaching experience in dance or movement-based classes is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills to convey instructions clearly and foster a positive learning environment
Ability to perform physically demanding routines while maintaining stamina and precision
Passion for dance education and community engagement that inspires others to participate and excel
