About Fixing Point

Fixing Point has been at the forefront of roofing and cladding for over 40 years, and we are proud to have supported some of the UK’s biggest contractors from tender to completion with our fully integrated service.

We are now looking for a proactive and customer-focused Internal Sales Executive to join our growing team.

The role

As an Internal Sales Executive, you will play an important role in supporting our growth and delivering an excellent experience for our customers.

Working within a defined sales region, you will work collaboratively with your Business Development Manager to support and develop a portfolio of customer accounts, respond to enquiries, prepare and follow up quotations, process orders and help resolve customer issues.

This is more than an order-processing role. You will build strong customer relationships, understand their requirements and proactively identify opportunities to retain and grow their business through relevant products and solutions.

What you’ll be doing

Responding to customer enquiries by telephone and email in a timely, professional and helpful manner.
Preparing, issuing and proactively following up quotations.
Managing and developing a portfolio of customer accounts through regular contact and relationship building.
Identifying appropriate upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Working closely with the Business Development Manager for your region to review customer activity and identify opportunities to retain and grow accounts.
Handling customer concerns and complaints calmly and efficiently.
Processing customer orders accurately and keeping customers informed.
Managing delivery-related enquiries and coordinating with other departments to resolve issues.
Maintaining accurate customer records and recording interactions within the CRM system.
Working towards agreed sales, service and customer satisfaction targets.
Supporting regional sales plans and wider business objectives.
Collaborating with external sales colleagues and internal departments to deliver the best possible outcome for customers.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for someone who enjoys speaking with customers, building relationships and turning enquiries into sales opportunities.

You will ideally have:

Previous experience in internal sales, account management or a customer-focused commercial role.
A confident and professional telephone manner with strong written, verbal and listening skills.
The ability to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Confidence using Microsoft Office and/or customer management systems.
GCSE English and Mathematics at grade 4/C or above, or an equivalent qualification.
