Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Motorcycle Preparation (Valeting) and Paint Technician, where your expertise will bring motorcycles to life through meticulous preparation and vibrant paint finishes. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with used bikes, ensuring each motorcycle is flawlessly prepped and beautifully finished to meet the highest standards. Your attention to detail and passion for craftsmanship will directly contribute to delivering exceptional products to our customers. Duties

Prepare motorcycles for painting by sanding surfaces, and masking areas to ensure clean, precise paint application
Apply primer, base coats, clear coats, using spray cans & painting tools
Inspect motorcycles for surface imperfections, scratches, or dents, and perform necessary repairs before painting
Use hand tools and power tools to assemble, disassemble, and modify motorcycle components as needed
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored and safety protocols are followed
Conduct quality checks on finished paint jobs, ensuring color accuracy, smooth finishes, and adherence to specifications
Assist with heavy lifting of motorcycle parts or frames safely using appropriate techniques and equipment

Requirements

Experience with hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, sanders, and paint applicators
Proficiency with power tools used in preparation and painting processes
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods when handling motorcycle parts or assemblies
Attention to detail with a focus on achieving high-quality finishes
Good communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
Prior experience in motorcycle or automotive painting is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
